3 Days trip from Marrakech to Sahara Desert

Your four-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins today. You will be picked up by a local tour guide from Morocco Daily Adventures Company at the airport or place of lodging, and then you will go to Boumalne Dades. We will halt numerous times along the route, the first of which will be at Tizi N’T’ichka Pass, which is 2260 meters high in the High Atlas Mountains. We pause here to take in the breathtaking view of the Atlas before moving on to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, our next stop. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Kasbah is well known for its exquisite examples of traditional Moroccan architecture, which are made of earthen clay and harmoniously integrate into the surrounding terrain.

Ait Ben Haddou has become well-known for serving as the shooting location for a number of motion pictures and television shows, such as “Game of Thrones,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and “Gladiator.” Its stunning and well-preserved buildings make the ideal setting for epic and historical settings. After your exploration of the Kasbah is complete, we stop for lunch at a nearby eatery before continuing on to Ouarzazate, which is referred to as the “gateway to the desert.” One of the biggest film studios in the world, Atlas Studios, is located in Ouarzazate, which is also well-known for its film industry.

Later on, we set off to to Kalaat M’Gouna, a city renowned for rose cultivation and distillation, after you feel free to snap a memorable photo in front of the Taourirte Kasbah. Furthermore, the city’s inhabitants celebrate the Rose Festival at the castle every year since it produces a lot of cosmetics using local flowers.

We visit the Dades Gorge for a brief visit today after breakfast. Beautiful views of the valley and the distinctive rock formations may be had from the winding road that winds through the gorge. Enjoy a typical lunch at a nearby restaurant while admiring the lovely surroundings. We then make a halt not far from the gorge to view the Monkey Finger Rocks, so called because of their unusual shape that resembles monkey fingers.

This natural marvel is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll and picture ops. After that, we depart from Boumalne and go across the Todgha Gorge to the Sahara Desert. Once there, visitors are welcome to stroll among the 300-meter-tall canyon walls and take in the striking scenery. This location is ideal for a quick hike and photography. At last, we reach Merzouga after a customary lunch by the Gorge. We leave you off at the edge of the sand, ride your camels, and begin navigating the dunes.

After making a stop at the stunning panorama to take in the enchanted sunset vista, proceed to the Desert Camp. You will be greeted with a mint teacup and a delectable dinner at the camp. Before you go to bed, see the stars away from the light of the campfire and bask in the desert sensations of Berber music.

After leaving the enthralling Merzouga desert on the third day of your three-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour, we will travel to Fes. We will make multiple stops along the way to explore and take in each fascinating location. First, the Ziz Valley is today’s destination. It has become known as Morocco’s second-largest oases, after the Daraa Valley. We then take a car to Midelt, the apple capital.

We stop here for lunch and continue on to the Cedar Forest. The wild Barbary Macaques settled in the woodland after migrating from Gibraltar. Feeding the monkeys is welcome, but we advise using caution. So let’s continue exploring Ifrane, Morocco’s Little Switzerland, which is situated in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Before traveling to Fes, feel free to have a little stroll about the city. After your three-day Morocco Desert tour, we drop you off at the airport or at your lodging in Fes.
