Marrakech to Fes desert tour 2 days

Your two-day trip of the Sahara Desert departing from Marrakech begins today. You will be picked up by a local tour guide from Morocco Daily Adventures company at the airport or place of lodging before heading into the Sahara Desert. We will halt numerous times along the route, the first of which will be at Tizi N T’ichka Pass, which is 2260 meters high in the High Atlas Mountains. We are leaving behind the magnificent golden dunes and the enchanted desert landscape, which makes today a little tearful. Heading for Fes, the land of civilization and history. As we make our first halt at a stunning overlooking view of the Ziz valley, where hundreds or even thousands of palm trees are growing up on these vast oases, which are regarded to be the biggest ones in Morocco, we are met by breathtaking landscapes along the road. After that, we continue on our journey to Zaida for lunch before stopping at Cedar Forest, home to the untamed barbary macaques. The location is excellent for capturing photos of the monkeys, however it’s best to exercise caution when feeding them.

From there, travel to Ifrane, also referred to as Morocco’s “little Switzerland,” which is situated in the center of the little Atlas Mountains. Because lions and other dangerous animals used to live here, a statue of a lion was erected on the city’s main thoroughfare.
