We make our first stop at Ifrane, also known as the little Switzerland of Morocco, which is situated in the center of the small Atlas Mountains. Amazing scenery await us along the road. Because lions and other dangerous animals used to live here, a statue of a lion was erected on the city’s main thoroughfare. Afterwards, we continue to the Cedar Forest, home of the untamed macaques. The location is excellent for capturing photos of the monkeys, however it’s best to exercise caution when feeding them.
